First Hadith
Actions are (judged) by motives (niyyah), so each man will have what he intended. Thus, he whose migration (hijrah) was to Allah and His Messenger, his migration is to Allah and His Messenger; but he whose migration was for some worldly thing he might gain, or for a wife he might marry, his migration is to that for which he migrated
[Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim]
This seems like quite an apt first hadith.

mashaallah this is a very gr8 blog. May allah reward u for it.
i remember learning this hadith when i was 9 in madarassa. i was sooo proud when i came home i told my parents and my grandfather who was on the phone with my mom then.
